Morneau Shepell is the largest employee and family assistance program (EFAP) provider in Canada, supporting employees and their families so that they can manage work, health, and life challenges. All support services are accessed voluntarily by the individual and are strictly confidential.
Each of our licensed counselors is equipped to provide confidential assessments, counseling services, and appropriate referrals for individuals, couples, and families.

At that time, the Department of Personnel Administration, now California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), assumed responsibility for the Program. Your call will be answered by a highly-trained master’s-level clinician Guidance Consultant who will assess your immediate situation and provide you with the appropriate referral to local counsellors and other professionals who can assist with a wide range of behavioural, legal, financial and work-life concerns.
A robust EAP program is an important component of any workplace community. It is different from other programs as it acts as a separate entity under a non-profit society concept. EAP services are available to MSU faculty, staff, retirees, and graduate student employees, and their benefits eligible family members.
