Military reserve retirement

How do you calculate military reserve retirement? Can you draw retirement from active duty Army and still be in reserves? When does military retirement pay start? Is military retirement pay enough to live on? Reserve retirement is sometimes called non-regular retirement.


Members who accumulate or more years of qualifying service are eligible for reserve retirement when they reach age or, in some cases, a lesser qualifying age.
