In partnership with the Armed Services YMCA Opens a new window and the Department of Defense, the Y is proud to offer memberships and respite child care services to eligible military families and personnel to give them extra support during this difficult period. Please do not leave copies of these documents at the YMCA. The YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities is proud to offer two military initiatives to eligible military personnel and families. These initiatives gives military members extra support and access to vital resources that promote youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. At the YMCA we are honored to serve our military active duty, reserve, retire and local families.

YMCA – Participating YMCA’s offer memberships and respite child care. Many YMCA locations offer discounted annual membership fees to active duty members of the Armed Forces. Military Discounts at Gyms and Health Clubs. In addition, some YMCA locations offer free enrollments to active duty military personnel due to partnerships with YMCA of the Armed Forces. No matter where you are and how you will spend deployment, the YMCA has a program that can benefit your family.

Apply for and manage the VA benefits and services you’ve earned as a Veteran , Servicemember, or family member—like health care, disability, education, and more. The store is sweetening its normal veteran and military discount , and not just for Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. The YMCA will waive the Start-Up fee for veterans on the monthly payment plan if veteran commits to a yearly deduction.
