Measles outbreak signs and symptoms

Three to five days after symptoms begin, a rash breaks out. Small raised bumps may also appear on top of the flat red spots. You have no signs or symptoms of measles during this time.

Typically, symptoms will appear one to two weeks after exposure in individuals who are not immune.
